Norwich Veggie Fayre 2015

On Saturday we packed up all of our stock and headed down the road to the 5th Norwich Veggie Fayre at the Quaker Meeting House!

Even being local to us, due to clashing dates and living in Brighton for a year – we’d never been to previous ones. But, had heard wonderful things about the event from everyone involved in the Norwich Vegans group and other traders, so we were super excited!

The doors opened at 11am and the crowds poured in..and they didn’t stop! It was so busy, we didn’t get a chance to take many pictures. But luckily, two of our friends The Everyday Vegan and the Hench Herbivore made some awesome videos of the day! They even included our stall!

Luckily, we had our friend Zoe helping us for the day and she dashed out to the food area and grabbed a pulled jackfruit roll for us from Bia Kitchen! It was SO good!

We managed to get some of this yummy Tiramisu Marble cake (before they completely sold out!!) from Deerly Beloved Bakery to take home too! (We may have eaten it before we managed to take a picture ourselves…)

We were also super stoked to meet on of our heroes, Vegan Sidekick! We picked up an awesome poster and some fridge magnets too, but they’re already on the wall in the office/on the fridge! If you haven’t checked Vegan Sidekick out (where have you been?!), do it. You won’t regret it! Funny, passionate and to the point.

I shall leave these guys to show you around what was an amazing event. If you can make it to next years, come along!

Special thanks to Miranda Dane for organising such a wonderful day and Zoe Rayner for being our glamorous assistant for the day!

  1. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
